Celebrating your Womanhood

  • by Crizalia

Celebrating your Womanhood is a cyclical reminder that we need to release, cleanse, and let go of what no longer nourishes us; And this, on the path of self-love, involves bravely facing our shadow.

Today, we must ask ourselves without fear:

  • How much time do I truly dedicate to myself?
  • Where have I abandoned my creativity and my libido, my inner fire?
  • Am I living the life I desire, or just surviving?
  • Do I give love with the same generosity that I expect in return?

Many times, we believe that self-love, the definition of our womanhood, is just about indulging ourselves or feeling good, but it is much more than that. It is also discipline, commitment, and decision. It is about holding ourselves up even when the world demands the opposite. It is about reclaiming our voice, our sensuality, and our creative power.

When we disconnect from self-love, the definition of who we are, we also extinguish our life force.

Libido is not just sexual desire; it is the energy that drives us to create, to transform, and to live passionately.

Celebrating your femininity is about reactivating our inner fire, reconnecting with the pleasure of existing, inhabiting our bodies, and feeling whole without the need for external validation.

On this International Women’s Day, I invite you to a simple but powerful exercise:

  • Take a pause and observe yourself. What is your body telling you? What emotions need to be heard?

Give yourself space for joy. To dance, write, sing, or do whatever makes you feel alive in a balanced and healthy way.

  • Appreciate what you have let go of and what is yet to come.

This is the perfect moment to reorganize ourselves internally and to plant intentions that will flourish in our lives.

May this day of celebration allow us to recognize that our definition and expression of being a woman is not a destination, but a journey we traverse day by day, with each decision we make to love ourselves better.
